BAS Conference Support Fund (CSF)

The BAS Conference Support Fund (CSF) offers two types of support:

BAS Events Grants

Applicants to this fund do not have to be BAS members at the time of application, but will be required to join as part of the process of registering for the event.

Non-BAS Events Grants

Applicants to this fund must have been BAS members for at least 1 year at the time of application.
The BAS Committee considers applications twice a year – see below for deadlines. The total number of awards made and the amount of each award are at the discretion of the BAS Committee. The Society also retains the right not to award any money in a given year.

Applications CANNOT be made after you have attended an event.

See below for full details and a link to the application form for each grant type (BAS Therapy Symposium; BAS Biennial International Conference; Non-BAS event).
From 2014 onwards, each grant type has a separate form – please use the correct one.

BAS Events Grants

  • Normally, up to ten places will be sponsored at each BAS Biennial International Conference or BAS Therapy Symposium.
  • Normally, applicants may apply for sponsorship up to a maximum of £200. Applicants for the BAS Conference are usually asked to select a specific package of support (e.g. 3-day registration; 1-day registration plus travel up to a maximum amount). See the application form for details.
  • Applications CANNOT be made after you have attended an event.
  • Please fill in the application form electronically and email it to the CSF Officer (details at the end of the form). There is no need to post a hard copy. Your email will be taken in lieu of a signature – the time and date on the email MUST be before the deadline.
