“Membership is open to all people involved in the management, treatment or research of aphasia, both in the United Kingdom and overseas. Our membership is comprised of students, researchers and practitioners from a range of disciplines including speech and language therapy, psychology, linguistics and medicine.”

You may be aware that British Aphasiology Society pays a small percentage of each membership fee to third party payment processors. The percentage is higher for card payments than for direct debit payments.
In the light of this, and also to encourage members to enjoy a longer term relationship with the Society, BAS has taken the decision to offer a lower membership fee to members who pay via direct debit.

All membership rates are for one year commencing on the date of payment – except the special 2 year student rate.

We use Stripe (for debit/credit card) and GoCardless (direct debits) to process payments. The British Aphasiology Society does not store your payment details. You can manage your subscription at any time using the link in your profile page.
