Events

We are a society run by and for the benefit of members. Therefore, to attend any of our events you must become a member.

We run two types of events.

In Autumn we run a International Conference which is for clinicians and academics. These are typically large events (of 120+ people) with presentations, posters, and sometimes workshops.

In Spring/ Summer, we run the Research Update Meeting (RUM). This year's event is coming up on 8th June 2023. The RUM is a one-day forum where researchers present planned, ongoing or recently completed work in aphasia, in a relatively informal way. Projects can be at any stage of development or completion. The meeting is designed to be an open and friendly environment, with an audience of clinicians, students, researchers and clinical-academics. It offers the opportunity to receive feedback on ideas and to keep up-to-date on current research activities. The full programme will be advertised nearer the time.

Our events are hosted all over the UK. If you’d like to host a Conference, Symposium or Research Update Meeting, please get in touch here: https://bas.satorimm.com/contact-us.aspx
