Funding is available to both delegates and presenters, although
priority will be given to those who are presenting work. The awards may
cover registration, accommodation, travel expenses and other essential
costs.
Priority will be given to applicants who have limited access to
funding from other sources, and who would be unable to attend the
conference without financial assistance.
The BAS Committee will consider applications. The total number of
awards made and the amount of each award will be at the discretion of
the committee. The Society also retains the right not to award any money
in a given year.
Grant Schemes
- BAS Events Grants
- Up to ten places will be sponsored at each BAS Biennial
International Conference/BAS Therapy Symposium.
Applicants may apply for sponsorship up to a maximum of
£200. There are two yearly
deadlines for receipt of applications in 2012: 13 January; 8
June.

- Support Fund for Conferences (non-BAS)
- BAS members may apply to this fund to support attendance at
conferences relevant to the interests of BAS but not run by BAS.
- UK members may apply to attend both UK and overseas
conferences.
- Overseas members may only apply to attend conferences in the
UK.
A maximum of £1000 per annum is available. Awards to individual
applicants will not exceed £400. This fund may not be used to
support attendance at the BAS Conference or Therapy Symposium. There
are two yearly deadlines for receipt of applications in 2012: 13
January; 8 June.
